ASAE Annual Meeting
It finally happened! It was supposed to happen in 2020 in Las Vegas and then in 2021 in Houston.  After a few years of Covid delays, ASAE Annual was back in person in Nashville.  AT was part of a group of industry partners titled the "Success Crew". The tailgate theme (see Jersey photo) was well received and the "Crew" hosted a fun event at The Olde Red. As usual, ASAE put on a great event. The meeting started with Safi Bahcall, author of Loonshots sharing his insights and strategies to help associations innovate. On day two, Marcus Whitney shared his incredible journey from dropping out of college; to becoming a founder of a healthcare VC fund; to bringing professional soccer to Nashville; to creating the first Black healthcare venture fund.  The closing keynote was the powerful story of Cindy Bullens, a GRAMMY-nominated musician and author of TransElectric. Besides the amazing keynotes, there were many outstanding sessions that focused on the overall conference theme of "Disruption = Opportunity". It was wonderful to see so many colleagues in person after years of Zoom and Teams meetings.
