Meet Our Staff
Bryan Hartsock, CEO/CTO
Bryan is one of our founding partners. Bryan is responsible for web and application development and acts as a major resource for strategic planning, networking, and client support projects.
With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Illinois State University, Bryan was the Manager of Consulting Services for Smith, Bucklin and Associates IS division. Bryan has also worked for Debis, a division of DaimlerChrysler, where he was the Senior Systems Architect in supporting Freightliner Trucks, Inc. dealer network. Bryan started his career working for CNA Insurance performing network and application research along with application development. Bryan is one of AT's Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers.
Mark Granquist, President & Chief Relationship Officer
Mark is one of our founding partners. Mark’s primary area of responsibility is Membership Systems implementations, Project Management, and support. In addition he works on application development projects and Information Technology strategic planning. Mark is also a Certified iMIS Professional.
Mark has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. Mark has worked in various capacities with several associations. Most recently he was the Director of Finance and Information Technology for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, a four million dollar professional member organization located in Rosemont, Illinois. Before that he worked as a Systems Analyst at Smith, Bucklin and Associates, an association management firm located in downtown Chicago.
Jim Meyers, Vice President, Business Development and Partnerships
Jim’s primary focus is on new business development of applications and consulting projects, as well as managing client relationships.
Jim has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from North Central College and is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Future Leaders Program – a national designation awarded to less than thirty five recipients per year. Before joining AT, Jim was a Vice President of Mortgage Lending with MidAmerica Bank and managed branch operations locally for Countrywide Home Loans and National City.
Andrew Pawlak, Senior Application Consultant
Andy’s primary responsibilities include Membership Systems, Project Management and client support. Andy is one of AT’s Microsoft Certified Professionals with specialties including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Crystal Reports, iMIS, Apex and Microsoft SharePoint.
Andy was a successful convention planner in the association community for five years with Association Forum of Chicagoland, the association for not-for-profits and associations in the Chicagoland area. In 2000, Andy earned his Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) designation and graduated Roosevelt University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.
Chris Green, Senior Application Consultant
Chris holds certifications as a Certified iMIS Professional and Microsoft Certified Professional. With Association Technologies (AT), Chris specializes in all aspects of iMIS EMS implementation including but not limited to requirements analysis, installation/upgrades, troubleshooting, query development, process development, and training. In addition, Chris has a solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (implementations and management), Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, and database and website architecture (HTML, CSS, .NET).
Chris has a Master of Science in Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, both from Eastern Illinois University.
Michele Brandt, Senior Application Consultant
Michele is a Certified project manager and iMIS professional who has been helping organizations for over a decade to define and streamline business processes through iMIS configuration, reporting and training. With extensive experience as a project manager and senior application consultant on many iMIS and 3rd party implementations, Michele brings a high level of knowledge and expertise, while her commitment to sustainable solutions establishes her as a dependable and trusted partner.
Michele graduated from National Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.
Cindy Meyers, Application Consultant
Cindy’s primary responsibilities at Association Technologies include Membership Systems, Application and Report Development and Client Support. Cindy’s specialties include Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, iMIS, and Apex.
Cindy graduated summa cum laude from North Central College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cindy came to AT in 2006. Prior to that, she worked for Waste Management World Headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois for ten years as a Systems and Business Analyst.
Ed Sirijintakarn, Senior Developer
Ed is responsible for leading development projects. He works closely with our iMIS consulting staff to design and build applications that are user friendly for both Association staff and their members/customers.
Ed has holds a MS in Human Computer Interaction and BS in Computer Science from DePaul University. Ed was a Systems Developer and Manager of IT for the Bostrom Corporation, the Association Management Company, prior to joining AT. He has also worked as a Solutions Architect for Internetiks.
Amy Bohn, Project Manager
Amy’s primary responsibilities include leading and managing customer requests and working with customers and the AT team to ensure projects are completed successfully.
Prior to joining AT, she worked at JourneyEd.com as the Director of Vendor and Product Management, and as the VP of Corporate Partnerships at Educational Resources/Sunburst Technologies. Amy graduated from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
Ben Kalkwarf, Senior Network Consultant
Ben’s primary focus is design, planning, and implementation of infrastructure and cloud solutions. His specialties include DropBox, Office 365, cloud SSO AD integration, Windows Server, Exchange, and Security. In addition, Ben is one of AT’s Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers.
Ben started information technology career as an intern at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. He spent two years at Valparaiso University in Indiana studying Mechanical Engineering, and finished his education with a. Ben began working with AT in 2000 as an intern while he completed his Bachelor of Science in Web Technology Systems from Roosevelt University.
Dustin Oros, Senior Network Consultant
Dustin specializes in the areas of Disaster Recovery, Network Security, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, and VoIP design, installations and support. Prior to joining AT, Dustin worked for Ciber, Inc. as a Systems Support Specialist and served in the U.S. Navy as an IT Department Supervisor/Information Systems Security Manager.
Dustin has achieved MSCA, MCTS, MCP and 3CX Phone System certifications, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management from Illinois State University.
Steve Black, Network Consultant
Steve is one of Association Technologies’ Workstation Specialists, holds a Microsoft MCSE Certification, and specializes in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and Windows support. Prior to AT, Steve was System Engineer/Consultant with Network Systems Technologies and worked for Menzies Aviation in a Support Level II capacity.
Steve earned a BA in Economics while minoring in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
Dave Bertalmio, Network Consultant
David is working towards his MCSA and MCSE this year. He is excited to learn everything and anything in our industry that is continually changing. He is highly skilled with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, Apple OSX, iOS, and Android. David strives to become a Server Administrator and AT is getting him to that level of expertise.
David came to AT after working in the legal industry (Sidley Austin LLP and Vedder Price P.C.) for 4 years. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010, from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media w/ focus in Information Technologies.
Tyler Schenk, Network Consultant
Tyler comes to Association Technologies with a background in ISP and telecommunications. Tyler currently specializes in end-user support, Microsoft Office, multi-factor authentication, backup monitoring, and VOIP solutions design and implementation.
Tyler is our team's certified Xerox Solutions Specialist and Webroot Ambassador. Currently, Tyler is diligently working towards a series of Microsoft certifications.
Linda Biesecker, Office/Administrative Support
Linda’s primary responsibilities include client support, accounts receivable, and Managed Services hardware/software procurement.
Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining AT in 2013, Linda worked for the Georgia State Golf Association and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. She was also a contributing writer for Golf Georgia magazine.
Julie Hartsock, Payroll/Benefits Specialist
Julie’s primary roles with Association Technologies (AT) are in the areas of accounts payable, payroll services, and benefits administration.
After receiving BA degrees in Marketing, and International Business, Julie had careers with Hyatt Corporation in the Business Process Review Department, Sandwich State Bank as a Loan Officer, and at the National Education Training Group in their sales department.
