Andrew Pawlak
Senior Application Analyst and Technical Applications Manager


Andy’s primary responsibilities include Membership Systems, Project Management and client support. Andy is one of AT’s Microsoft Certified Professionals with specialties including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Crystal Reports, iMIS, Apex and Microsoft SharePoint.

Andy was a successful convention planner in the association community for five years with Association Forum of Chicagoland, the association for not-for-profits and associations in the Chicagoland area. In 2000, Andy earned his Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) designation and graduated Roosevelt University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.

Michele Brandt
Director, Training and Application Onboarding


Michele is a Certified project manager and iMIS professional who has been helping organizations for over a decade to define and streamline business processes through iMIS configuration, reporting and training. With extensive experience as a project manager and senior application consultant on many iMIS and 3rd party implementations, Michele brings a high level of knowledge and expertise, while her commitment to sustainable solutions establishes her as a dependable and trusted partner.

Michele graduated from National Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.

Cindy Meyers
Senior Application Analyst and Relationship Manager


Cindy’s primary responsibilities include Membership Systems, Application and Report Development and Client Support. Cindy’s specialties include Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET, Crystal Reports, iMIS, and Apex.

Cindy graduated summa cum laude from North Central College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cindy came to AT in 2006. Prior to that, she worked for Waste Management World Headquarters in Oak Brook, Illinois for ten years as a Systems and Business Analyst.

Tricia Marshall
Senior Application Analyst and Relationship Manager


Tricia is a part of the Application Consulting team and has extensive experience with association management, business processes, iMIS and project management. She is no stranger to the iMIS community, having supported iMIS for more than 15 years as an end user and consultant. It is her experience on "both sides of the fence," along with her exposure to hundreds of iMIS clients, that allows her to successfully partner with clients to listen and share her knowledge to elevate their business.

Tricia graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Communications and a Master of Science in Agriculture and Extension Education.

Matthew Bernatz
Application Analyst


Matt’s primary responsibilities include application and report development, website development/maintenance, search engine optimization, and client support. Matt’s areas of expertise include troubleshooting, query and process development, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, and iMIS.

Matt graduated Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with emphasis in Enterprise Software. Matt came to AT in 2018. Prior to that, he worked for Sears Holdings Corporation in Hoffman Estates, Illinois for two years as a Software Specialist and Business Analyst. Matt also has experience in supporting new software implementation and software upgrades.

Infrastructure and Cloud Services Team

Ben Kalkwarf
Director, Infrastructure and Onboarding


Ben is an expert in IT infrastructure, hosting and security as well as cloud solutions including Dropbox, Office 365 and integrating cloud security with existing infrastructure.

Ben has supported iMIS since 2000, from deploying iMIS clients to supporting various infrastructures for the server components of iMIS and RiSE.  He has been involved with well over 100 major iMIS migrations and upgrades.  Ben's unique knowledge of infrastructure, virtualization, security, and SQL Server allows him to resolve difficult problems that arise with the complex needs of iMIS 20 and RiSE.  Ben's expertise with security and encryption has made him a critical member of the planning team for iMIS upgrades and migrations in the age of iMIS 2017 and PCI-DSS compliance.

Ben began working with AT in 2000 as an intern while he completed his Bachelor of Science in Web Technology Systems from Roosevelt University.

Dustin Oros
Director, Infrastructure and Hosting


Dustin specializes in the areas of Disaster Recovery, Network Security, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, Active Directory, and VoIP design, installations and support. Prior to joining AT, Dustin worked for Ciber, Inc. as a Systems Support Specialist and served in the U.S. Navy as an IT Department Supervisor/Information Systems Security Manager.

Dustin has achieved MSCA, MCTS, MCP and 3CX Phone System certifications, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management from Illinois State University.

Dave Bertalmio
Senior Network Engineer


Dave has been with AT since 2015 after working in the legal industry for 5 years.  He supports and implements just about every managed service we provide.  He is our primary trainer for Dropbox and Cloud Security.  Dave manages some of AT's Automation tools which help keep your organization operating efficiently. 

Dave graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010 from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media and focus in Information Technologies.  He has an MCP certification for WIndows 10.

Steve Black
Network Engineer


Steve is one of Association Technologies’ Workstation Specialists, holds a Microsoft MCSE Certification, and specializes in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and Windows support.  Prior to AT, Steve was System Engineer/Consultant with Network Systems Technologies and worked for Menzies Aviation in a Support Level II capacity.

Steve earned a BA in Economics while minoring in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.

Tyler Schenk
Network Engineer


Tyler comes to Association Technologies with a background in ISP and telecommunications. Tyler currently specializes in end-user support, Microsoft Office, multi-factor authentication, backup monitoring, and VoIP solutions design and implementation.

Tyler is our team's certified Xerox Solutions Specialist and Webroot Ambassador. Currently, Tyler is diligently working towards a series of Microsoft certifications.

Noah Barbel
Network Engineer


Noah joined AT in February 2018. His primary responsibilities include client support and workstation deployment.

Noah is currently attending Aurora University, and will graduate in May 2019.

Application Development Team

Ed Sirijintakarn
Senior Developer


Ed is responsible for leading development projects.   He works closely with our iMIS consulting staff to design and build applications that are user friendly for both Association staff and their members/customers.

Ed holds a MS in Human Computer Interaction and BS in Computer Science from DePaul University.  Ed was a Systems Developer and Manager of IT for the Bostrom Corporation, the Association Management Company, prior to joining AT.  He has also worked as a Solutions Architect for Internetiks.

Brian Hines
Senior Developer


Brian works closely with Ed, and our iMIS consulting team, designing and building flexible solutions that span the entire web stack.  He started working in tech as a database admin and iMIS consultant over a decade ago before moving into software development, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure management.  He has a deep knowledge of web development and distributed system design and is passionate about open-source software, data analytics, and Python.

Brian holds BAs in History and Political Science from the University of Virginia at Wise.  Prior to joining AT, he was a Systems Engineer at Vokal Interactive, a Senior Tech Lead at Civis Analytics, and a Site Reliability Engineer at ActiveCampaign.

Operations Team

Amy Bohn
Project and Relationship Manager


Amy’s primary responsibilities include leading and managing customer requests and working with customers and the AT team to ensure projects are completed successfully.

Prior to joining AT, she worked at JourneyEd.com as the Director of Vendor and Product Management, and as the VP of Corporate Partnerships at Educational Resources/Sunburst Technologies. Amy graduated from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

Lisa Kulig
Office Manager


Lisa’s primary responsibilities include client support, accounts receivable, and Managed Services hardware/software procurement.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, Lisa had careers with Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an Area Manager and Operations Manager and Painters USA as an Operations Manger and General Manager. 

Julie Hartsock
HR/Accounting Administrator


Julie’s primary roles are in the areas of accounts payable, payroll services, and benefits administration.

After receiving BA degrees in Marketing and International Business, Julie had careers with Hyatt Corporation in the Business Process Review Department, Sandwich State Bank as a Loan Officer, and at the National Education Training Group in their sales department.
