iSecure is a SharePoint (Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services) plug-in written by Association Technologies that allows for SharePoint security to be associated with your membership system. iSecure allows for user authentication and authorization to be defined within your membership data rather than Active Directory. By default, SharePoint security is controlled by Active Directory which requires an Active Directory account to be created for each user to logon to a SharePoint website. Additionally each Active Directory user account must be managed for SharePoint access. With iSecure, you can customize SharePoint security to match your membership design within iMIS or other membership system.
