Contact Link
ContactLink was developed in the true spirit of providing associations with industry specific productivity tools.
By listening to our customers we developed Contact Link to take the hassle out of
managing contacts in multiple systems. Our clients discovered the management of contact information
in more than one application can be time consuming, cumbersome, and frustrating. Contact Link is a powerful tool that integrates iMIS (or any other SQL Server database)
with a Microsoft Outlook address book or contact folder. These folders can be in
an individual’s mailbox or a public folder. Once installed no user interaction is
required to have contact information automatically updated in Outlook.
"Contact Link is the best productivity tool we have in our arsenal. Contact Link allows our entire staff, from the CEO to the mail room clerk, to easily access our members’ contact information and committee listings without having to leave Outlook. The connection between our iMIS database and Contact Link is real time so that the information we are using is as up to date as our data entry process. I don’t know what we’d do without this marvelous efficiency tool.”

How It Works…
Whenever a record is created or modified in your CRM/Membership system, ContactLink creates or modifies an associated contact record in
Outlook. Only modified data is pulled into the contact record allowing any user
modified data to remain intact. Upon installation a client can choose which fields
to be replicated to Outlook. Distribution lists can also be created and populated
with the iMIS contacts. A variety of criteria can be used to create the distribution
lists including: member information (member type, paid thru, etc.), demographic
information, and activities (committees, meeting attendance, etc.).

- Microsoft SQL 6.5 or higher
- Microsoft Outlook 2000 (installed on server only).
- Clients may use any Outlook version
