Team Profile
Bryan Hartsock, Senior Consultant
Bryan is one of our founding partners.
Bryan is responsible for web and application development and acts as a major resource
for strategic planning, networking, and client support projects.
With a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Illinois State University, Bryan was the Manager of Consulting
Services for Smith, Bucklin and Associates IS division. Bryan has also worked for
Debis, a division of DaimlerChrysler, where he was the Senior Systems Architect
in supporting Freightliner Trucks, Inc. dealer network. Bryan started his career
working for CNA Insurance performing network and application research along with
application development. Bryan is one of AT's Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers.
Mark Granquist, Senior Consultant
Mark is one of our founding partners.
Mark’s primary area of responsibility is Membership Systems implementations, Project
Management, and support. In addition he works on application development projects
and Information Technology strategic planning.
Mark has a BS in Finance from the
University of Illinois – Champaign/Urbana and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
Mark has worked in various capacities with several associations. Most recently he
was the Director of Finance and Information Technology for the American Society
for Surgery of the Hand, a four million dollar professional member organization
located in Rosemont, Illinois. Before that he worked as a Systems Analyst at Smith,
Bucklin and Associates, an association management firm located in downtown Chicago.
Jim Meyers, Director of Sales
Jim’s primary focus is on new business development of applications and consulting projects, as well as managing client relationships.
Jim has a BA in Business Management from North Central College and is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Future Leaders Program – a national designation awarded to less than thirty five recipients per year. Before joining AT, Jim was a Vice President of Mortgage Lending with MidAmerica Bank and managed branch operations locally for Countrywide Home Loans and National City.
Ben Kalkwarf, Consultant
Ben’s primary area is infrastructure design, planning, and implementation. His specialties include
the Windows Server platforms, Exchange, and Security. In addition, Ben is one of AT’s Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers.
Ben comes to us from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America where he served as an intern in the IT division.
He spent two years at Valparaiso University in Indiana studying Mechanical Engineering, and finished his education
with a Bachelors Degree in Web Technology Systems from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Ben began working with AT in
2000 as an intern. He joined our staff full-time after graduating from Roosevelt University with Honors.
Andrew Pawlak, Consultant
With Association Technologies (AT),
Andy’s primary responsibly includes Membership Systems, Project Management and client
support. Andy’s specialties include Microsoft SQL Server, Crystal Reports, iMIS,
and Apex.
Andy comes to AT with more than 6 years of association experience, most recently coming from Association Forum of
Chicagoland, where he held the position of Education and Online Services Manager.
In 2000, Andy earned his Certified Meeting Professionals (CMP) designation and graduated
Roosevelt University in 1996 with a degree in Public Relations.
Application Developers
Our Developers average over 7 years
of experience. They specialize in .NET (C#, ASP.NET,VB.NET),ADO.NET, Component Object
Models (COM), HTML, XML, JavaScript, VBScript, Visual Interdev, Visual SourceSafe,
and Microsoft SQL server. Each Developer is familiar with all stages of system development
life cycle.
Workstation Support Team Members
Our workstation support staff have
several years of experience in trouble shooting client hardware, software, and networking
issues. They have experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). In addition, they have excellent one-on-one customer
service and communications skills.
